DN offers email migration services to and from Office 365. We take care of all the hard work moving your email data, and at each step. In order to begin your migration, we need to collect critical information from you.

NOTE: Your current password will be kept on file until the migration has been done. After the migration, you will be required to change to a permanent password following your organizations password guidelines. Below are definitions of terminology for your reference.

Email aliases:

  • An alias is a way to disguise another Office 365 email address. Everything sent to an alias email address is actually received in your inbox. However, you can’t send from an alias address. Any reply will show your primary email address as the sender.

Distribution list:

  • A distribution list is a group of mail recipients that is addressed as a single recipient. Distribution lists are used to send email to groups of people without having to enter each recipient’s individual address.

Outlook rules:

  • A rule is an action setup in your Outlook that automatically performs on sent or received email messages. Example is moving all messages from a specific person into a folder.

PC installed on:

  • We need to ensure that every PC or MAC you have outlook installed on is updated with the new migrated email address. We may need to communicate with you  further to gather specifics.
